How to fix 4C2: safe DIY steps
- Connect the cold supply to the cold inlet and the hot supply to the hot inlet (typically blue to blue and red to red)
Safety firstUnplug the washer (or switch off its breaker) and close the water taps before you reach behind it, handle hoses or open a filter. Water left from a recent hot cycle can be very hot, so let it cool first. Never bypass the door lock. Motor, pump, valve, sensor and control-board repairs belong to a qualified appliance technician.
