Information only

The site provides general information about furnace error codes, based on manufacturers' published manuals. It is not professional advice and is not a substitute for your equipment's manual or for a licensed HVAC technician. Manuals vary by model and revision; always check the manual for your exact unit.

Safety

Gas appliances can cause fire, explosion, carbon monoxide poisoning and electric shock. Only do checks you can perform safely, turn off power before opening any panel, and never bypass safety devices. Gas, venting, wiring and control-board work should be done by a licensed technician. If you smell gas, leave the building and call your gas utility from outside.
