Same characters, different appliance: LG OE on a washing machine is a different fault. LG washing machine OE.
Likely causes
- Residue clogging the filter
- Drain (outlet) hose pressed or bent
How to fix OE: safe DIY steps
- Clean the filter, which LG advises doing every one to two weeks: remove the lower rack, turn the filter handle counter-clockwise and pull up, separate the inner and stainless steel filters, wash both in running water, reassemble and turn the handle clockwise until it clicks. Wait 30 minutes after a cycle first, because the tub is hot
- Close the shut-off valve first, then straighten any pressed or kinked parts of the drain hose
- Make sure the end of the drain hose at the dishwasher is at least 30 cm (about 12 in) above the floor
- If water was left in the tub after a power cut, power on and restart the cycle; for a lot of water, force a drain by powering on and long-pressing Start for at least 3 seconds (2 to 3 minutes)
Capacitors can hold a charge after the power is off. Safety terms.
