- Reset power at the breaker: switch it off for 30 seconds, then back on
- If E21 is not resolved, call Bosch Customer Support (1-800-944-2904) with your model number ready

If the 30-second breaker reset does not clear E21, Bosch says to call Customer Support. Bosch lists other heat pump codes separately: E01 (heat pump motor circuit fault at the main control board), E09 and E20 (heat pump internal heater fault) and E12 (limescale build-up in the heat pump, which is fixed by descaling).
