How it shows: PCBHR104 unitary diagnostic display in Goodman service manual RS6200007 r27. Digit 3 is blank. Digit 2 is P and digit 1 is 0. The code is P0
Likely causes
- No current through the run or start windings
- Compressor run winding is open
- Compressor not wired to the control, or other faulty compressor wiring
- Failed run capacitor or faulty run-capacitor wiring
Safe checks for P0
- Write down P0 before power is cycled. The chart says the fault can clear after 1 normal cycle or by cycling 24 VAC to the control, after the cause is corrected
- Techniciancheck the compressor, the wiring, and the run capacitor
