Indoor fan motor error: fan speed stayed below one-third of the target for more than 56 seconds. The operation lamp blinks 5 times and the timer lamp blinks once.

Likely causes
- Fan will not rotate (caught, dropped, or a locked motor)
- Fan motor winding open
- Motor protection from high temperature around the motor
- Indoor control PCB or fan motor failure

- Switch the breaker off. Do not open the indoor unit to spin the fan by hand
- Technicianthe manual's first check is to rotate the fan with power off and see if it is caught
